NOTICE – LOCAL 592 MEMBERS
There will be a SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING on Sunday June 2, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the UAW Hall, 929 South Alpine Road, Rockford, IL for the purpose of nominations of Sergeant-At-Arms and District 2 Chief Steward. You need not be present to be nominated, however, persons nominated but not accepting nomination at the June 2, 2024 meeting must notify the Recording Secretary in writing no later than 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday June 4, 2024.
The GENERAL ELECTION for Sergeant-At-Arms and District 2 Chief Steward will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 at the UAW Hall, 929 South Alpine Road., Rockford, IL. The polls will be open from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. A run-off election should one be necessary will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at the UAW Hall, 929 South Alpine Road, Rockford, IL. Polls will be open from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Winning Candidate will take office at the June 26, 2024 Membership Meeting. Notices will be published on the bulletin boards in the plants and on Local 592’s website.
